Julia graduated from Macalester College with a B.A. in Neuroscience with minors in Psychology and Biology and a concentration in Community and Global Health. Her research interests include investigating genetic risk and social determinants of health as they relate to the development of mental illnesses, and examining the mechanisms of altered perception in psychotic disorders like schizophrenia.
